This is the first Kaci Edelbrock Scholarship presented to a Monroe High School senior.
Markie Price is the first recipient of the Kaci Edelbrock scholarship. She is a student at Sky Valley Education Center. Markie is a running start student who will be finishing her AA degree at Everett Community College at the end of this year. Her focus is on early childhood education and her ultimate goal is to become a teacher.
Markie comes from a big family. She has five siblings; two older brothers and a younger sister and brother. She played basketball and participated in track for Monroe High School. She also volunteers for the Montessori Catholic Co-Op. Markie has always loved working with kids, so it’s no surprise that teaching is her calling.
We’ll be anxious to follow Markie’s post secondary journey. Congratulations to all of the 2019 Monroe High School seniors.
